Thanks to the kind support of about 50 of his friends and contemporaries I am systematising the life and work of English folk musician Royston Wood (*1935 - +1990). Not only his musical ideas, but also his varied and colourful life - his close friend Heather Wood called it 'a life well lived' - inspired me to write a  biography about him. Furthermore I am collaborating with Wood's daughter Hannah on the archive release Love Remains: a mini-anthology of traditional love songs sung unaccompanied by Royston.

Royston was also singer in the English unaccompanied folk trio Swan Arcade, who were active between 1971 and 1991. I assist Davoc Bradley - the son of the band's founders Dave and Heather Brady - in putting together a website about the band. The manifold sources we have pieced together not only convey a sense of the group, but also of a club and festival scene that is very inspiring, and a lot different - a lot less commercial and marketing-oriented - than today's average.

The website will launch this summer.
